BC Hockey is proud of all volunteers and members. Our awards program recognizes outstanding achievements to all areas of our game from the grass roots player to its volunteer Executive Committee. We are also proud of the recognition given by other organizations to our current and former members that have achieved excellence through their experience in sport. 

AGM – BC Hockey honours outstanding members and volunteers with annual awards presented at its annual general meeting every June.

Scholarships – BC Hockey awards registered members in their final year of high school with scholarships to assist with academic aspirations.

Championships are held yearly for Pee Wee, Bantam, Midget, Juvenile, Senior and Junior BC Hockey teams. Individual teams participating in each championship are district winners. One team from each BC Hockey Championship division (Pee Wee through Juvenile) receives a Fair Play Award for best exhibiting the qualities of sportsmanship.

Hockey Canada presents annual awards as well as minor hockey week awards for service to the sport of hockey.

Premier – These awards recognize the top male and female athletes from 46 sports participating in the BC Athlete Assistance Program (AAP). 

Sport BC – These awards are presented annually by Sport BC to honour athletes and volunteers within British Columbia.
