Host Announced for 2012 Female U18 BC Cup
BC Hockey, in conjunction with the Windermere Valley Minor Hockey Association, announced January 26, 2011 that Invermere, BC has been selected as the host city for the 2012 Female Under 18 BC Cup. The event will take place from April 25-29, 2012, and will feature the top female players in BC, born in 1995 and 1996.

Vancouver Canucks Female Jamboree
The 2012 Canucks Centre for BC Hockey Female Jamboree will take place March 23-25, 2012 at Burnaby Eight Rinks in Burnaby, BC. BC Hockey would like to encourage all female hockey players between the ages of 5-13 to attend this event which emphasizes fun, fair play and new friendships. The cost to attend the event is $95.00.

Major Midget League Player of the Month – December
BC Hockey announced January 16, 2012 that Braden Krogfoss (Cloverdale, BC) has been named the Major Midget League Player of the Month for December. Krogfoss had a great month finishing with a record of 3-0-0, 0.33 goals against average and two (2) shutouts for the Vancouver North West Giants.
