BC Hockey announced today that Roseanne Wallace, goaltender for the Kootenay Wildcats has been selected as the Female Midget AAA player of month for November. Wallace was stellar in net in November finishing with a 3-0 record, with two (2) of her wins being shutouts and a 1.00 goals against average.
“Roseanne is dedicated to being an impact player as our team only has one goalie,” said Kootenay Wildcats head coach Paul Matteucci. “She has committed to never missing a practice and has played every minute for us this season.”
Wallace has a busy life outside of hockey as she finds to time to work on her family winery. She brings a hard work attitude and continues to improve her hockey skills through her positive attitude.
Roseanne Wallace was chosen from a high calibre list of other nominees. The runners up in no particular order are as follows:

The Female Midget AAA League was initiated in the 2007-2008 season in response to the membership’s desire to provide an opportunity for elite female hockey players to come together on zone teams to challenge other elite Female Midget teams.
