BC Hockey announced today that Jordan Krause (Kelowna, BC) of the Thompson-Okanagan Rockets has been selected as the Female Midget AAA player of the month for November. Krause had a great month of November finishing with one (1) goal and four (4) assists.
“Jordan is always the first one to help and one of the last ones to leave the dressing room every week,” said Thompson-Okanagan Rockets head coach Sylvain Leone. “Her ability to perform at such at such a high level, while maintaining high grades and a part time job, is a great accomplishment by the young lady.”
Krause was chosen from a high calibre list of other nominees. The runners up in no particular order are as follows:
- Fraser Valley Phantom –Kristyn Zoschke
- Vancouver Fusion – Jackie Lang
- Kootenay Wildcats – Lindsay Audia
- Prince George Cougars – Meagan Spooner
- Vancouver Island Impact – Aicia Archer
The Female Midget AAA League was initiated in the 2007-2008 season in response to the membership’s desire to provide an opportunity for elite female hockey players to come together on zone teams to challenge other elite Female Midget teams.
