The playoffs started in Female Midget AAA action (FMAAA). Thompson-Okanagan beat the Northern Capitals two (2) games to none in the wild-card play-in series.

Thompson Okanagan Lakers vs. Northern Capitals

Quarterfinal-A1: Thompson-Okanagan 3, Northern 1

Quarterfinal-A2: Thompson-Okanagan 2, Northern 1

The Lakers will visit the Greater Vancouver Comets while the Vancouver Island Seals host the Fraser Valley Rush in semifinal action.

SCHEDULES/SCORES

The FMAAA was initiated in the 2007-2008 season in response to the membership’s desire to provide an opportunity for elite female hockey players to come together on zone teams to challenge other elite female Midget teams. The league has had over 100 players move on to post-secondary hockey opportunities.
