2016-2017 MML Team Staff Announced

The BC Major Midget League (MML) is pleased to announce several team staff for the 2016-2017 season.

Blais has served as a coach with the Kelowna Minor Hockey Association and has also worked in BC Hockey’s Male High Performance Program. He was an assistant coach with Team BC at the 2015 Canada Winter Games, and coached Kelowna’s Midget Tier 1 team that won BC Hockey Championships in 2013 and 2014.
 
Bratt has served as a coach for the North Shore Winter Club at the Pee Wee and Bantam levels. He also worked as an assistant coach with the North Island Silvertips (MML) in 2012-2013, and was a director of operations at the 2015 Male U15 Provincial Tournament and 2013 Male U16 BC Cup.
 

Calvano coached for the Langley Rivermen and Coquitlam Express of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) from 2010 to 2015. He previously worked with the Vancouver NW Giants (MML) as a coach from 2005 to 2010, winning MML Championships in 2007, 2009, and 2010.

 
Terry Jones was previously announced as the general manager for the Kootenay Ice. Additional team staff will be announced shortly.
 
The MML was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17 year olds an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level and be developed for the next level of hockey. These teams have an opportunity each year to compete for the TELUS Cup, Canada’s National Midget Championship, which will take place in Prince George, BC in April 2017.
