Noah Juulsen

BC Hockey announced March 14, 2013 that Noah Juulsen (Abbotsford, BC) has been named the BC Major Midget Player of the Month for February.  Noah played a major role in the Fraser Valley Thunderbird’s playoff push, scoring three (3) goals and having 11 assists in eight (8) games.

“I have coached many elite players and Noah fits in that category.  I believe he is the overall best defenseman I have had the pleasure of coaching,” said head coach Troy Campbell.  “Noah respects and is dedicated to the game of hockey.  I am confident that if Noah continues to work hard, he will play pro and make BC Hockey proud.”

Noah is also a part of the BC High School Hockey League, where his team, Yale, won the championship last year and is looking to repeat that win this year.  Aside from hockey, Noah works part time at Cultus Lake Golf Course and volunteers to run the clock or scorekeep during hockey tournaments.    He also maintains a high grade point average which has earned him a place on the honor roll.

“His will, attitude and determination has made him a strong player with an incredible work ethic and competitive spirit that is hard to match,” added Campbell.

As well as being named Player of the Month, Juulsen will receive an exclusive gift from Easton on his selection.  He was chosen from a high calibre list of nominees for this prestigious award.  The runners up in no particular order are as follows:
