BC Hockey announced October 11, 2012 that applications for the Female Under 16 Zone Camps are now available on the BC Hockey website. The deadline to submit an application is December 19, 2012. There will be five (5) camps held around the province, which will be used to instruct and evaluate players for their possible selection to represent their zone at the 2013 Female U16 BC Cup.
The cost to attend the camp is $235 plus applicable taxes. Camp location and dates include:

Eligibility:
· Players born in 1998-1999
· Players must be members of BC Hockey
· Players must be evaluated on-ice at the Zone Camp to be eligible for selection to represent their zone at the 2013 U16 BC Cup
Based on performances at the zone camps, six (6) teams will be formed to compete at the 2013 Female U16 BC Cup. Two (2) teams from the Lower Mainland zone camp will be selected and one (1) team from all other zone camps will be selected. Teams will be made up of the top 20 players who will represent their zone at the BC Cup.
BC Hockey’s Female High Performance Program was established to identify and train athletes and team personnel for possible participation at Provincial, National and International events. The U16 program is particularly important as it is the first stage in the Female High Performance Program where player evaluation and team selection occurs.
