BC: Who has had the most influence on your hockey career, and why?
A: Gina Kingsbury and Rebecca Russell because they have supported and pushed me to be a better player in my midget career.
BC: What is your first memory of playing hockey or skating?
A: Skating with my dad and older brother on our pond in the backyard when I was four (4) years old.
BC: What is your most memorable hockey moment?
A: Beating Team USA in the series (USA-CAN series) this year!
BC: Who was your favorite minor hockey coach, and why?
A: Shawn Lund. He taught me how to be a smart, aggressive player.
BC: What are your future hockey goals?
A: To make the world’s team going to Finland this December.
BC: What would it mean to you to win the National Women’s U18 Championship?
A: It would be amazing to win for BC because I know how hard the girls have worked and how much time and effort the coaching staff has put into this year. Also, to make BC a threat in upcoming years.
BC: What one (1) word describes you on the ice? Off the ice?
A: On the ice, gritty and off the ice, bubbly.

A: Tessa Bonhomme

A: Singing in the shower

A: When Crosby scored the golden goal
BC: What do you consider your strongest hockey skill and how did you develop it?
A: My physicality. I grew up in a big family and played boys hockey.
BC: Can you tell us at least three (3) other interesting facts about you?
A: I have five (5) siblings. All of our names start with the letter A. I grew up in a tiny northern BC village called Kitwanga.
