2010 Male Under 16 Provincial Camp Schedule

BC Hockey announced Thursday, June 10 the schedule for the 2010 Male Under 16 Provincial Camp. The Camp will be held in Penticton, BC at the South Okanagan Events Centre from June 30 – July 4, 2010. Fifty-six (56) players were selected to attend the five (5) day camp.

Provincial Camp Schedule

Attending the Male U16 Provincial Camp is the next step of the process for the players vying for a spot on Team BC. At the conclusion of the camp 32 players will be short listed for possible selection to Team BC. Of the 32 players short-listed, 20 will be selected to Team BC. Team BC will compete at the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax, BC from February 11-27, 2011.

The BC Hockey High Performance U16 Program is designed as an introduction to BC Hockey’s High Performance Program, exposing players, coaches and officials to short term competition. The Under 16 Program also acts as a precursor to the BC Hockey High Performance U17 Program, which is used to identify and train players and team personnel for Provincial, Regional and National Teams.
