2013-2014 Major Midget League All-Star Team

BC Hockey announced the players selected to the 2013-2014 Major Midget League All-Star Team.  Players were selected based on votes from BC Hockey Major Midget League coaches.  Each player will be presented with an award from BC Hockey.

Jakob Severson (Coquitlam, BC) helped the Vancouver North East Chiefs to finish fifth overall with a 18-17-5 record.  He played 23 regular season games where he recorded an 11-8-1 record with a 2.97 goals against average.

Dante Fabbro (Whistler, BC) netted 22 goals and 39 assists in 38 with the Vancouver North West Giants during the regular season.  He led the team with 10 points during the teams six (6) game playoff run.

Jordan Henderson (Coquitlam, BC) finished the regular season with 39 points from nine (9) goals and 30 assists. 

Matt Bradley (Surrey, BC) led the Valley West Hawks scoring 39 goals and 32 assists during the regular season and 13 points during their five (5) game playoff run.  He finished in fourth place for overall points in the regular season standings.

Liam Finlay (Kelowna, BC) netted 51 points from 17 goals and 34 assists in 28 games with the Okanagan Rockets during the regular season.  He helped the Rockets claim top spot in the MML Championship series to advance to the Pacific Regional and TELUS Cup where he netted 10 points during the National Championship.

Tyson Jost (Kelowna, BC) led the Okanagan Rockets and league with 88 points from 44 goals and 44 assists during the regular season.  He also helped the Rockets win the BC MML Championship with 18 points to advance to the Pacific Regional and National Championship where the team brought home the bronze medal.

The BC Hockey Major Midget League was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17 year olds an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level and be developed for the next level of hockey. These teams have an opportunity each year to compete for the National Midget Championship.
