2016-2017 Female Midget AAA All-Star Team

BC Hockey announced the Female Midget AAA League (FMAAA) All-Star Team for the 2016-2017 season. Members of the all-star teams were voted on by FMAAA  team staff.

Spooner finished the season with a 4-5-4 record but had an impressive 1.89 goals against average (GAA) for the Seals this past season. She had four (4) of the team’s six (6) wins in 2016-2017.

Macdonald led the FMAAA league in scoring by a defenceman tallying 21 points (12G, 9A) in 30 games for Vancouver Island. She led the team in scoring and was ninth overall in league scoring.

Wallace had 20 points (7G, 13A) in 27 games for the Comets this past season. She was third among FMAAA defenceman in scoring.

Hunt was only one (1) of three (3) players who averaged over a point per game as she had 31 points (16G, 15A) in 29 games for Kootenay. She was second overall in league scoring.

Fletcher had a solid campaign for the Thompson-Okanagan Lakers finishing second in team scoring with 21 points (10G, 11A) in 30 games. She finished tied for eighth in league scoring.

Gardiner was the top point getter in the FMAAA, leading the Comets to a 29-1 regular season record. She amassed 34 points (15G, 19A) on the season to go along with only eight (8) penalty minutes.
