1/26/2012BC Hockey, in conjunction with the Windermere Valley Minor Hockey Association, announced January 26, 2011 that Invermere, BC has been selected as the host city for the 2012 Female Under 18 BC Cup. The event will take place from April 25-29, 2012, and will feature the top female players in BC, born in 1995 and 1996.

Team Pacific Finishes 5th at World U17 Hockey Challenge
1/4/2012Team Pacific rebounded after a disappointing 4-2 loss to Team USA which eliminated them from the medal contention at the 2012 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge, with a 5-4 overtime win over Team Quebec in the fifth place game. Josh Morrissey (Calgary, Alberta) scored a power play goal 3:12 into overtime to give Team Pacific the win.

Delissio Rise up for Minor Hockey – October Winner
11/29/2011The Abbotsford Female Hockey Association was the grand prize winner in October for the Western Hockey League’s (WHL) Delissio Rise Up contest. The $5000 won by the Association will be used to cover ice cost and purchase equipment to service their growing membership. 2011 Skills Summit a Great Success

Alberni Valley Bulldog Wins National Junior A Scholarship
4/23/2009Hockey Canada recently announced the 2009 RBC Junior A Scholarship winners including the national award winner, Kevin Ross of the BCHL’s Alberni Valley Bulldogs. Nine (9) other scholarships were awarded to players across the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s (CJHL).
