Minor Hockey Associations (MHA) can book these clinics HERE.

Certification Maintenance

The Coaching Association in partnership with Hockey Canada and BC Hockey recognize the value of having coaches that are engaged in professional development programs which reinforce the values of lifelong learning and sharing amongst the coaching community.

The accumulation of professional development points is a requirement for certification renewal. Every five years, BC Hockey coaches certified at the Development 1 level are required to collect 20 PD points, while coaches certified at the High Performance 1 level need 30. These points can be earned through additional clinics, online modules, conferences, and other activities that coaches may already participate in. These options include, but are not limited to:

Administration of the Certification Maintenance Program will be led by the Coaching Association of Canada and coaches can track their status by visiting their LOCKER PROFILE.

BC Hockey is a non-profit organization and member of Hockey Canada, providing stewardship of amateur hockey at all levels in British Columbia and Yukon.

Approximately 150 minor hockey associations, 55,000 players, 4,500 referees, 20,000 official volunteers and countless others make our great game possible here in Pacific Canada.
