Daly finished the season without dropping a game posting a 14-0-1 record and had an impressive 1.33 goals against average (GAA) for the Comets this season.  Daly played her last two (2) seasons with the Kootenay Wild, but moved to the Comets as the Wild did not operate this season.

Jobst-Smith led the FMAAA league in scoring by a defenceman amounting 24 points (3G, 21A) in 32 games for the Greater Vancouver Comets. She finished ninth overall in league scoring but had the league’s third highest assist total.

Grinder had 18 points (5G, 13A) in 31 games for the Fraser Valley Rush this season. She was third among FMAAA defenceman in scoring, and took just four (4) penalty minutes, an impressively low number for a top pairing defenceman.

Gardiner was the top point getter in the FMAAA, leading the Comets to a 29-2-1 regular season record. She put up 67 points as well as a league leading 38 goals, adding 29 assists, and 12 penalty minutes.

Paisley finished fourth in league scoring and was only one (1) of six (6) players who averaged over a point per game as she had 38 points (28G, 10A) in 28 games for the Vancouver Island Seals. She was second overall in the goal category behind only Gardiner.

Chan had a solid campaign for the Fraser Valley Rush and was the team’s top scorer.  She finished fifth in league scoring with 36 points (17G, 19A) in 26 games. Chan collected just four (4) penalty minutes over the course of her season.

Members of the all-star team were voted on by FMAAA team staff.

The FMAAA program consists of five (5) zone-based teams that are spread across the province – the Fraser Valley Rush (Langley), Greater Vancouver Comets (Coquitlam), Northern Capitals (Prince George), Thompson-Okanagan Lakers (Vernon), and Vancouver Island Seals (Shawnigan Lake). The teams play a 30-game regular season, followed by the playoffs.

The FMAAA program was initiated in the 2007-2008 season in response to the membership’s desire to provide an opportunity for elite female hockey players to come together on zone teams to challenge other elite female Midget teams. The league has had nearly 100 players move on to post-secondary hockey opportunities.
