Thompson Blazers have opening for head coach

The Thompson Blazers have an opening for head coach.

The Blazers are a member of the 11 team BC Major Midget League (MML) and finished seventh in league standings with a 17-21-1-1 record in 2017-2018. The Blazers returned to the league playoffs for the first time since 2007.

Tanner Cochrane had served as Thompson head coach for the past two (2) seasons and has accepted a position with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL)

The MML was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17 year-old players an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level and be developed for the next level of hockey. These teams have an opportunity each year to compete for the TELUS Cup, Canada’s National Midget Championship.
