Call For 2019 Male Program of Excellence Event Team Staff

BC Hockey announced that staff applications are now available in the Male Program of Excellence (POE) for the 2019-2020 season.  Applications are being accepted for the U15 and U16 Regional Camps, U15 Provincial Tournament, the U16 BC Cup and Team BC staff for the 2019 WHL Cup.

Positions for the Male POE events are as follows:

U15 & U16 Regional Camps – March 2019 – Various Locations

Head Coach (8)

Equipment Manager/Athletic Therapist (8)

Assistant Coach (16)

U16 BC Cup – April 18 – 22, 2019 – Salmon Arm, BC

Head Coach (8)

Equipment Manager/Athletic Therapist (8)

Assistant Coach (16)

U15 Provincial Tournament – May 9-12, 2018 – Penticton, BC

Head Coach (8)

The selection committee for Male POE positions will consist of the Male POE Coordinator and the BC Hockey Chief Executive Officer or designate.

The BC Hockey Male POE exposes players, coaches and officials to short term competition.  Through player development, identification, inclusion, information translation and progression, athletes are prepared for the next stage.  The BC Hockey Male POE acts as a precursor to the Hockey Canada POE, which is used to identify and train players and team personnel for regional and national teams.
