BC Hockey AAA Leagues Registration

BC Hockey, in partnership with District and Minor Hockey Associations (MHA), will be operating a zone program for the 2020-2021 season. 
BC Hockey has opened registration for all eligible participants for the BC Hockey AAA Leagues which includes:
Female U18 AAA League (U18FAAA) Female Midget AAA
U18 AAA League (U18AAA) Major Midget
U16 AAA League (U16AAA) Minor Midget
U15 AAA League (U15AAA) Major Bantam
The registration process will include a form for players to submit an intent to play for a AAA team for the 2020-2021 season. There is no cost or deposit required for this first step of registration. The deadline to submit your intent to play for a BC Hockey AAA League team is August 12, 2020 at noon PT.
Following the initial registration, team general managers, in consultation with the coaching staff will review the registration list for their zone and will invite a maximum of 40 players to participate in the next step of the registration process. The 40 invited players will then receive and invitation to participate in the next step of the process which includes a $300 fee per player.
Team general mangers will oversee a selection process adhering to the following criteria:
  • Facility guidelines must be adhered too.
  • viaSport guidelines must be adhered too.
  • To work in collaboration with Minor Hockey Associations (MHAs) within their draw zone to align with Association timelines for team selection.
  • The selection process to be completed by approximately September 20, 2020.

Participants should also register with your home MHA for the upcoming 2020-2021 season.

The BC Hockey Zone AAA/AA Program provides an elite level development experience for athletes aged 13 to 18. The focus of this program is to prepare participants for the next level of hockey through expanded draw zones
