Pacific Midget Regional’s Webcast

The Vancouver North West Giants are set to host the Calgary Buffaloes this weekend at the Burnaby Winter Club, April 3-5, 2009 for the Pacific Midget Regional’s Championship.  The winner of the Pacific Midget Regional’s will represent the Pacific at the TELUS Cup the National Midget Championship, April 20-26 in Selkirk, Manitoba.

The following is the schedule for the Pacific Regional’s.

  • Friday, April 3 at 7:00 pm at the Burnaby Winter Club
  • Saturday, April 4 at 7:00 pm at the Burnaby Winter Club
  • Sunday, April 5 at 2:00 pm at the Burnaby Winter Club (if required)

All games will be webcasted (audio and video) on the BC Hockey and Major Midget League website.  Colin Tiggelaar the voice of the Surrey Eagles of the BCHL will be doing the play-by-play announcing. 

Tickets will be sold for the event at $5 a ticket or $10 for a 3 game pass.  There are only a limited number of tickets left.  To purchase tickets please email  with your ticket request and contact information (mailing address, phone number and email address).

The BC Hockey Major Midget League was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17 year olds an opportunity to play within their own age group.  Playing at this high level and be developed for the next level of hockey. These teams have an opportunity each year to compete for the National Midget Championship.
