Giants Represent the Pacific Division at Telus Cup

The Vancouver North West Giants are off to the 2007 Telus cup in Red Deer April 23-29, 2007.  This will be the first time since 2001 that a team from British Columbia will compete for the National Midget Championship. 

With the Giants winning the BC Hockey Major Midget League championship and the Red Deer Optimist Rebels capturing their respective Alberta division, a Pacific play-off was not necessary between the two teams due to Red Deer hosting the Telus Cup.  This honor reserved Red Deer a position in the tournament.

Representing the Pacific division, the Vancouver North West Giants will be one of six teams across the country competing for the prestigious Telus Cup.  For more information on the 2007 Telus Cup, click on the following link:
