Timber Mart SharpShooter Photo Contest
Tuesday, October 21, 2014

Hockey Canada has partnered with International Marketing Partner, Timber Mart on the Timber Mart SharpShooter Photo Contest.  Players, parents, coaches, officials and fans are asked to submit photographs capturing what hockey means to them.

Hockey is so much more than a game, especially in Canada.  It is the early morning practices, traveling with your teammates, the rituals; it is a culture so engrained in our lifestyle.  It is this lifestyle that SharpShooter Photo Contest wants applicants to capture.

The winning photo and associated minor hockey team will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the World Junior Hockey Championships in Montreal on December 27 – 30, 2014.  Twenty (20) players and a guardian for each player will be treated to a trip of a lifetime including: flights, two (2) nights’ accommodation and tickets to three (3) World Junior Hockey games.  In addition, 10 finalists will be shortlisted and will receive a $500 Timber Mart gift card.

To enter:

  1. Snap a picture capturing what hockey means to you

  2. Upload to the Timber Mart website, Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram

  3. Tag your photo with #TIMBERMART

  4. Promote your photo to friends and family to vote on it

Contest closes November 16, 2014.

Hockey is development for all kids in an organized sport, despite the dwindling amount of boys and girls in our hockey league we still maintain our love for the game.
