Volunteers Wanted for First Strides Event

Applications are currently being accepted for volunteer coach positions for the Canucks First Strides event on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Rogers Arena. 
Local minor hockey coaches will work side by side with qualified BC Hockey course conductors to teach young players the first strides in becoming accomplished athletes, as well as quality individuals off the ice.
The deadline to submit an application is Monday, November 23, 2015. Applicants must have Respect in Sport and Coach 2 – Coach Level certifications.
The First Strides program is a great opportunity for BC Hockey Initiation and Novice players aged six (6) to eight (8) to develop their skills while skating alongside Vancouver Canucks players at Rogers Arena. 80 boys and girls (72 skaters and 8 goaltenders) will be selected to participate in the program.
