Taylor has been involved in female hockey for more than seven (7) years, coaching from the Pee Wee to the FMAAA.  This past season, he was Assistant Coach for Team BC that finished fourth at the 2015 National Women’s U18 Championship in Huntsville, Ontario.

Fisher is entering his fifth season as Head Coach of the Kootenay Wild (formerly Kootenay Wildcats).  He has been involved in the BC Hockey Female High Performance Program and various Minor Hockey Associations (MHA) including Nelson, Castlegar and District and Greater Trail.

Johnston is returning for his second season with the Capitals; last year he was the team’s general manager. He helped the team last season to a first place finish at the Mac’s Midget AAA Tournament and to the Pacific Regionals.  He has been involved in coaching with the Prince George MHA for 10 years.

This season will be Tucker’s second year with the Lakers; he served as assistant coach last season. Prior to joining the FMAAA, he was involved in coaching various female teams within the Greater Vernon MHA.

Bellavance is returning for his second season as Head Coach of the Seals.  Prior to joining Vancouver Island, he held numerous female coaching positions with the Campbell River MHA.

Dara Waterstreet was earlier named General Manager of the Kootenay Wild.

Applications are still being accepted for all open positions.  Interested candidates should apply online via the BC Hockey website.

The FMAAA program consists of six (6) zone-based teams across the province – the Fraser Valley Rush (Langley), Greater Vancouver Comets (Coquitlam), Kootenay Wild (Nelson), Northern Capitals (Prince George), Thompson-Okanagan Lakers (Vernon), and Vancouver Island Seals (Campbell River). The teams play a 30 game regular season, followed by the playoffs. The FMAAA Champion has the opportunity to compete for the ESSO Cup, Hockey Canada's National Female Midget Championship.
