The BC Hockey Female U18 Team BC Selection Camp is underway at the Shaw Centre in Salmon Arm, BC. The four (4) day camp runs until Sunday, August 28, 2016 and will include on and off-ice activities that will introduce these high performance athletes to the most up to date information and concepts as they relate to both national and international levels of hockey.
The 40 players invited to attend the camp were selected based on their performances at the U16 Identification Camp and the U18 Invitational Selection Camp BC Cup earlier this year. Based on performance at the Selection Camp, players will be invited to a September training camp prior to the selection of Team BC. Following the September camp, 20 players will be named to Team BC which will compete at the 2016 U18 National Championship, November 9 – 13, 2016 in Regina, Saskatchewan.
