BC Hockey is excited to announce the staff selections for the 2008 Male U16 Nagano Olympic Memorial Cup. The announcement is a culmination of an application and review process lead by Shannon Bell, BC Hockey Officer at Large and the High Performance Selection Committee.

The 2008 Nagano Olympic Memorial Cup event is a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Nagano Olympics and also the 100th Anniversary of the International Ice Hockey Federation. Three teams will be participating in the event; the Japan Selects, Russia (Ermark Angarsk) and Canada (Team BC). The event will be held in the Olympic city of Nagano for the purpose of passing the basic Nagano Olympic philosophy down to the next generation.
Player selections will be conducted at each Male U16 zone camp. To be eligible for the BC Hockey U16 Nagano Olympic Memorial Cup team players must first register for their Male U16 zone camp. As this date has passed, players should now contact their district coordinator to register for their respective zone camp. Players should also fill out a U16 Nagano Olympic Memorial Cup player application form by December 15, 2007 and submit it to the BC Hockey office by fax or email. This application can be found on the BC Hockey website.
