The Canucks Female Jamboree is a grassroots development program geared towards females already playing hockey, as well as those just starting out. The event fosters a non-competitive atmosphere that allows the participants to have fun and play with other girls from around BC and the Yukon. BC Hockey jamborees stress sportsmanship, fair play, and respect for fellow players, coaches and officials.
BC Hockey works in partnership with the Vancouver Canucks through the Canucks Centre for BC Hockey to bring opportunities to minor hockey in British Columbia and the Yukon. The Centre aims to provide programs and initiatives supporting growth and development of coaches, players and fans.
