BC Hockey and Hockey Yukon are excited to host a fun-filled weekend celebrating female hockey in Whitehorse, Yukon, April 13 – 15, 2018. The weekend will consist of a Female Jamboree and a female skills weekend for players of all ages. All events will take place at the Canada Games Centre.
Initiation, Novice, Atom, and Pee Wee players will participate in the Female Jamboree that will include skills sessions, team building activities and a couple fun, non-competitive games. The event creates a relaxed atmosphere, which allows the participants to have fun and play with other girls with similar abilities and experience. The jamboree is designed to encourage sportsmanship, fair play and respect for fellow players, coaches and officials. All players will register individually and will be placed on teams based on age, experience and skill level. Each participant will receive a jersey and special gift from BC Hockey.
