Over the past three years, communities across Canada have confirmed their powerful connection to hockey through their passionate involvement with Kraft Hockeyville.
Together, Kraft Canada, CBC Television, the National Hockey League (NHL) and the NHL Player’s Association (NHLPA) – are, again, searching for the community that best embodies the spirit of hockey and hometown pride.
The stakes are high, so start sharing your favorite hockey photos and grassroots hockey stories to back your community’s bid to be crowned Kraft Hockeyville 2009. Remember, there is no limit to the number of stories and photos a community can have, so rally up as much support as possible. Visit the

The ultimate fans deserve to have their voices heard. That’s why Kraft Hockeyville is back for 2009. And this year’s competition promises to be bigger and better than ever! In fact, the competition is already heating up. After all, the stakes are high! The winning community is awarded an NHL® Pre-Season Game in their arena*, CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada visit to their community PLUS $100 000 from Kraft to upgrade their local arena! To make sure you get a clear shot at the grand prize, we’ve made it easier than ever to enter:
Starting November 1st, 2008, create a community profile and submit your story (up to 750 words maximum) and up to 3 pictures (minimum of one photo) that prove your community is Kraft Hockeyville 2009. Deadline for submissions is December 6, 2008.
Once your community has been posted, encourage all members of your community to submit their stories (up to 750 words max) and pictures (minimum one photo) to support your community for a shot at the title of Kraft Hockeyville 2009. Deadline for submissions is December 6, 2008.
