PAGE 11 OFFICIATING HIGH PERFORMANCE BC Hockey was represented by three 3 officials at a combination of four 4 major IIHF events in 2015-2016. Referee Brett Iverson Richmond officiated the gold medal game at the 2016 U20 World Championships in Finland and also participated in the 2016 Mens World Championships in Russia. Referee Jeff Ingram Langley skated in the World U18 Championship in North Dakota with linesman Nathan Vanoosten Vancouver. Nationally referee Mark Pearce North Vancouver was selected to officiate at the 2016 Royal Bank Cup and Ingram Mills and Vanoosten represented BC at the 2016 Memorial Cup. Caitlyn Schwab Coquitlam was selected to officiate at the Womens CIS National Championship. Several more officials represented the BC Hockey Officiating Program at several regional and provincial championships highlighted by referee Adam Griffiths Victoria working the Western Canada Championship for Junior A in Saskatchewan. The BC Hockey Above Minor program integrated the online supervision process into the HCR during the 2015-2016 season. In total 232 individual officials received 1407 supervisions at the Major Midget Junior B Junior A and Senior levels.
