PAGE 16 MIDGET LEAGUES FEMALE MIDGET AAA LEAGUE The 2015-2016 Female Midget AAA League FMAAA season started with a Showcase Weekend in October at the Surrey Leisure Center which was well received by all six 6 teams. The Greater Vancouver Comets finished the regular season in first place. The FMAAA Championship was played in Coquitlam between the Greater Vancouver Comets and the Northern Capitals where the Capitals defeated the Comets in two 2 games. The Northern Capitals represented BC at the Female Midget AAA Regional Championship against Alberta and fell in two 2 games to end the season. After the campaign Mario Desjardins Northern Capitals Head Coach was named the 2015-2016 FMAAA Coach of the Year.
