BCEHL PLAYOFF UPDATE: MARCH 16-20, 2022

Saanichton, B.C. –  The BCEHL playoffs are in full-swing this weekend with all four leagues in action. It's time for the semi-finals in the Female U18 AAA and U18 AAA leagues after last weekend's opening round of games. In the U17 AAA league the quarter-final round begins on Friday with the eight remaining teams trying to do all they can to advance. In the U15 AAA league, the playoffs will get underway on Wednesday with all the teams in action in a brand-new playoff format. Dive into all the details for this weekend's playoff series' below.

Female U18 AAA

The Female U18 AAA playoffs continue this weekend with the (1) Fraser Valley Rush, (2) Northern Capitals and (3) Vancouver Island Seals entering the competition. Coming up this weekend the (1) Fraser Valley Rush will host the (4) Thompson-Okanagan Lakers, who advanced past the (5) Greater Vancouver Comets last weekend, and the (2) Northern Capitals will host the (3) Vancouver Island Seals. Below you will find the teams' seeding, playoff format and this upcoming weekend's slate of games.

U15 AAA

A brand-new playoff format which mimics the World Junior Championship will be showcased this year in the U15 AAA league as all teams will head to North Vancouver to take part in the Championship week. The league will be broken up into two pools of five, with each team playing four games against the other teams in their pool. After that the highest-seeded four teams in each pool will advance to the quarter-finals, with the highest round robin seed in each group taking on the fourth placed seed in the other group, and the second seed in each group crossing-over to play the third seed in the other group for the quarter-finals. After the round robin, it is single-elimination games until only one team remains. Below you will find the two pools, playoff format and this upcoming week's slate of games.
