Saanichton, B.C. - All four leagues are back in action this weekend with tight races in each league! There are packed schedules in the U15, U17 and U18 leagues while the Female U18 league sees a lone matchup. Here's what's happening around the BCEHL.
Female U18 AAA
Only two teams will play in the Female U18 league as the third-place Northern Capitals (6-7-0-1) host the fifth-place Vancouver Island Seals (5-12-0-0). The offense has been a major factor in the Capitals’ success against the Seals this season, as they’ve won three of four contests and have scored over four goals per game in the process. The Seals are only three points behind the Capitals in the Female U18 standings.

U18 AAA
All eight teams in the U18 league take the ice this weekend. The first-place Valley West Giants (14-4-0-1) will take on the sixth-place Vancouver North East Chiefs (8-9-1-2) in Langley and Burnaby. Separated by only four points in the U18 standings, the third-place Okanagan Rockets (11-7-1-1) will battle the fifth-place Greater Vancouver Canadians (8-8-2-2) in Kelowna.

U17 AAA
The second-place Vancouver North West Hawks (15-6-0-0) will battle the fifth-place Vancouver North East Chiefs (12-7-1-1) in North Vancouver and Burnaby. Meanwhile, the fourth-place Valley West Giants (12-5-1-1) will face the seventh-place Cariboo Cougars (6-12-1-1) in Prince George. The Giants and the Chiefs each have 26 points and will look to climb the U17 standings.

This week in the U15 league, all eight teams are in action this weekend. The first-place Okanagan Rockets (14-2-0-0), who are on a nine game winning streak, will take on the fourth-place Thompson Blazers (7-6-2-1) in Kelowna and Kamloops. The squads have met once before on September 22 with the Blazers winning 4-2. With only four points between the two, the third-place Cariboo Cougars (9-4-1-0) will take on the fifth-place Valley West Giants (7-8-0-2) in Prince George.
