BCEHL WEEKEND UPDATE - DECEMBER 17-19

For Immediate Release
December 17, 2021

Saanichton, B.C. –  In the last weekend before the holiday break only seven of the BCEHL’s teams will take the ice, but we still have some great games ahead of us. In the Female U18 AAA league the Greater Vancouver Comets will play three-straight games this weekend, one against the league-leading Fraser Valley Rush and two against the Greater Vancouver Comets. In the U17 AAA league only four teams will take the ice, but nine of the 10 top scorers in the league will be in action. Let’s dive into the matchups.

Female U18 AAA

The Female U18 AAA will see their final three games before the holiday break play this weekend as the Greater Vancouver Comets play three games in three days against the Fraser Valley Rush and the Vancouver Island Seals. The Rush and the Seals met last weekend with the Rush coming out on top in both games. The Seals will look to work their way up the standings, sitting only two points behind the Thompson-Okanagan Lakers. Rush goaltender Rebecca Noble hopes to make it 10 wins in 10 starts when the Rush take the ice on Friday night.
