BCEHL WEEKEND UPDATE - OCTOBER 5th-6th

Saanichton, B.C. - The BCEHL is in full swing as we head into the fourth week of the season. It's a busy week ahead with 24 teams ready to hit the ice across all four leagues. Let's take a look at what's happening around the BCEHL.

 

Female U18 AAA

After last weekend's showcase kicked off the season, the Female U18 AAA league continues with four teams taking the ice this weekend. The Greater Vancouver Comets were a perfect 4-0-0-0 at the showcase, and look to keep finding the win column as they face the Northern Capitals (2-1-0-1).

Thompson-Okanagan Lakers @ Vancouver Island Seals - 4:45 p.m. - Frank Crane Arena

 

Greater Vancouver Comets @ Northern Capitals - 5:45 p.m. - Kin Centre

 

Sunday's Female U18 Games:

Thompson-Okanagan Lakers @ Vancouver Island Seals - 9:30 a.m. - Oceanside Place

U18 AAA

The U18 AAA league sees all eight teams in action this weekend. The first-place Valley West Giants (4-0-0-0) look to continue their perfect start as they battle the Okanagan Rockets (1-0-0-1) in a weekend series.

U17 AAA

There are eight teams set to take the ice this weekend in the U17 AAA league. Each with two wins last weekend, the Okanagan Rockets (6-0-0-0) and Vancouver North West Hawks (6-0-0-0) clash in a matchup of perfect records.

U15 AAA

All the focus is on Sunday this week in U15 league. The Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (2-3-0-0) host the Vancouver North West Hawks (2-4-0-0) in Abbotsford, while the Vancouver North East Chiefs (4-2-0-1) visit the Valley West Giants (1-2-0-1) in Delta.
