The 2026 Coy Cup will take place March 31-April 4, 2026, at the Dawson Creek Memorial Arena in Dawson Creek. The Canucks will welcome the top Senior Male AA teams from across British Columbia to compete in one of the province’s most storied hockey championships.
"On behalf of the Dawson Creek Canucks Hockey Club, the Peace River Regional District, our fans, and sponsors, we are incredibly excited and honored to host the 2026 Coy Cup." Dawson Creek Canucks General Manager Jeff Taylor said. "It's a privilege to welcome the top teams from across the province to our community, and we expect an exciting week of high caliber hockey. We would like to thank BC Hockey for this opportunity, and wish the best of luck to all the teams competing to qualify for the Coy Cup!"
The Terrace River Kings are the reigning Coy Cup champions, having earned the 2025 title after a 5-4 victory against the Rossland Warriors in the championship final in Prince Rupert. Dawson Creek are three-time Coy Cup champions, having won titles in 2018, 2019 and 2022.
"Welcoming the Coy Cup to our town is an absolute honor." Dawson Creek Mayor Darcy Dober said. "It's not just a game, it's a celebration of community, teamwork, and the spirit of sport. We look forward to hosting players and fans from near and far, and we can't wait to show you all the heart and hospitality our region has to offer."
The Coy Cup was donated to BC Hockey by Colonel Coy of the 50th "Gordon Highlanders" Regiment of Victoria, B.C. It is emblematic of the Senior AA Amateur Hockey Championship of BC Hockey. The first Coy Cup was awarded in the 1922–23 season.
