REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR BC HOCKEY'S FEMALE NORTH JAMBOREE IN VANDERHOOF

Saanichton, BC – BC Hockey is excited to announce that registration is now open for the BC Hockey Female North Jamboree, which will take place January 21-22, 2023, in Vanderhoof, B.C.

This jamboree is broken into two different age categories, U7 and U9 levels, and all participants must be BC Hockey/Hockey Canada Members to participate. All participants will also receive a jersey and some BC Hockey swag!

Please see below for the schedule of events:

January 20, 2023 – Ernie Sam Memorial Arena, Fort St. James, B.C.

• 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.: All participants are invited to attend the British Columbia Elite Hockey League's (BCEHL) BC Winter Classic Female outdoor game between the Northern Capitals and Thompson-Okanagan Lakers at the Ernie Sam Memorial Arena in Fort St. James, B.C. (weather dependent)

January 21, 2023 – Vanderhoof Arena, Vanderhoof, B.C.

• 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Registration in the arena
• 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: BCEHL game between the Northern Capitals vs. Thompson-Okanagan Lakers. Jamboree participants will be guests. Two lucky participants will also be selected to be 'Mini Caps' for the game and join the Capitals on the ice for warm up
• 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Group 1 skills session with BCEHL team
• 2:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.: Group 2 skills session with BCEHL team
• 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Jamboree games

January 22, 2023 – Vanderhoof Arena, Vanderhoof, B.C.

• 7:00 a.m. – TBD (final ice time still being determined): Jamboree games

Please note: Full equipment is required before taking the ice. More information will be distributed directly to participants closer to the event.
