Canucks to Host “Hot Stove” Session in Prince George
Friday, August 28, 2015

For the first time in the team’s history, the Vancouver Canucks will be hosting their training camp in northern British Columbia – at the CN Centre in Prince George, BC. Coaches can participate in a free “Hot Stove” session with Canucks and Prince George Cougars coaching staff.

The one (1) hour Coaches “Hot Stove” session will feature Canucks head coach Willie Desjardins and other team staff, along with members of the Prince George Cougars coaching staff. The coaches will discuss a number of hockey related topics such as goaltending, making the most of practice time, diet and nutrition and developing as a player. An open Question & Answer session will follow.

Attendees will also be entered to win the Grand Prize, a game night experience for two in the fully catered Avaya Champions Club suite. Other great prizes including autographed apparel and Canucks tickets will be available as well.

The “Hot Stove” will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday September 19, 2015 at the Kin 1 Lounge (in Kin Arena) in Prince George.

This unique opportunity is open to minor hockey coaches across the province. Space is limited, and participants will be randomly selected and notified by email.
