Major Midget League Player of the Month – December
BC Hockey announced January 16, 2012 that Braden Krogfoss (Cloverdale, BC) has been named the Major Midget League Player of the Month for December. Krogfoss had a great month finishing with a record of 3-0-0, 0.33 goals against average and two (2) shutouts for the Vancouver North West Giants.

CIHL Teams to Compete for Coy Cup
The 2012 Senior Male AA ‘Coy Cup’ will be held in Kitimat, BC at the Tamitik Arena from March 13-17, 2012. This year the prestigious five-day championship will consist of four (4) teams from the Central Interior Hockey League (CIHL) vying for the Cup.

2012 Minor Hockey Penalty Free Challenge
BC Hockey, in partnership with the Vancouver Canucks, is excited to announce that the 2012 Penalty Free Challenge will take place from January 15-22, 2012. The contest is open to all minor hockey teams in BC and the Yukon who complete a game without taking a penalty during the contest dates.
